The company is based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, in the factory we have occupied for the best part of a century. We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Senior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to work on an array of projects across the business from print and packaging, to advertising, to digital design. Design briefs come from across the business, and it is your role to interpret them creatively to the Sunspel aesthetic and manage design projects on schedule and on budget. The role reports in to Creative Director, and works closely with the Art Director and Marketing Manager in our London office.

JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for all graphic design needs coming from the company, taking responsibility of design development, final artwork, sampling, production, timeline and budgets. You will be required to maintain the brand guidelines, making sure branding is kept consistent across various projects such as labeling, advertising, seasonal collateral, print and digital.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes and managing printing budgets.
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time, comfortably working hands on and to tight deadlines.
  • Presenting concepts and taking input to finalised ideas that represents needs of the business and brand direction.
  • Working on layouts ready for print, sign-off and proofing.
  • Managing a timeline reliant on multiple components: printers, copywriters, photographers, designers, and comfortably manage all contributors to deadlines and budget.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years industry experience
  • Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience of print production

Assistant Store Manager (Berlin)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join the retail team at our newly opened store in Berlin Mitte.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing the store and employees, creating a positive and motivational environment, encouraging them to generate sales and provide exceptional customer service
  • Motivating staff to reach sales targets
  • Ensuring the store is always presentable and according to merchandising standards
  • Analysing sales and key performance indicators and taking the required actions to drive these
  • Reaching out and maintaining a good relationship with local businesses and neighbours
  • Administrative duties such as reporting daily sales figures to head office, organising staff rota and payroll

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years retail experience
  • Sales driven and results oriented
  • Organised and service minded
  • Able to multi-task and delegate tasks
  • Fluent spoken and written German and English (Essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
