Delivery for orders over £150 is free.
All orders for delivery to mainland UK are shipped via DPD’s next working day delivery service. DPD will update you on a delivery window by text and email.
Outside the UK mainland, orders are shipped via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ and can take 1-3 working days. Due to courier restrictions we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses or APO addresses.

Delivery for orders over $200 is free.
We now prepay all custom taxes and duties for all deliveries to the US. All you pay is the price you see at checkout, and product is less likely to be held at customs. However, random spot checks do occur on occasion. We use DHL for all US orders, on a fully tracked service, and work closely with them to ensure your order is received promptly.

GENERAL DELIVERY INFORMATION
DESPATCH TIMING OF ORDERS
We aim to despatch all orders within 1 working day of being placed, and on the same day for orders placed by 1pm GMT Monday to Friday. Please note that during busy periods and in sale, this is sometimes not possible and we regret we cannot make any amendments to purchases once ordered.
USING A DIFFERENT DELIVERY ADDRESS
If you don’t think you’ll be at home to receive your parcel, please give us an alternative address if it suits you better – for example, your work address.
IF YOU AREN’T IN WHEN THE DELIVERY ARRIVES
Our delivery partners will leave a notice card with contact details explaining any next steps in order for you to receive your order.
IF THERE ARE DELAYS
We do everything we can to make sure deliveries take place when we say they will. Sometimes, though, things beyond our control delay delivery.
DELIVERY COSTS IF YOUR ORDER COMES IN TWO DELIVERIES
Even if your order arrives in two packages you will only pay one delivery cost for your order, regardless of how many parcels we send out to you.
REPLACEMENT FOR NON-DELIVERED GOODS TO US, CANADA AND REST OF WORLD
In the event that an order delivered to US, Canada or Rest of the World regions does not arrive within the approximate delivery period stated, we will do our best to assist in tracking your order but this can be difficult with postal deliveries. Where there has been no delivery beyond 21 working days, we will process a replacement order.

We love our clothes, but we don’t want anyone to keep a Sunspel garment if they don’t want it. So if for any reason at all you want to return something, you can do so within three months of delivery.
It doesn’t matter whether you’ve tried the garment on or not (except for underwear – see below). We’ll give you a full refund or exchange the item. We don’t refund the original postage and packaging charge, but if you just want us to exchange the item then you don’t pay any postage for the replacement.
Please note, postage charges for returning goods back to us are your responsibility, we strongly recommend you ask for a proof of postage in case the parcel goes missing on its way back to us.
There are only five exceptions to our three-month guarantee:
- During the SALE we have a 7 day return policy for all goods bought on the site.
- For UNDERWEAR we ask that you return products to us within 14 days of shipping date. We will be happy to refund or exchange underwear provided they are in perfect condition, unworn, and in their original packaging.
- For SUNSPEL SETS individual items in the Sets are not valid for refund and can only be exchanged with the same item in an alternate size. Refunds are available on return of whole Sets.
- For FOOTWEAR, the original boxes are considered part of the product, and must be returned in their original condition, within protective packaging.
For MONOGRAMMED product, as the item has been personalised, returns are only offered for faulty goods.
HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT
Follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with your order, which includes a guide to the cost of postage and a detachable label with our address on it. Please complete and enclose the Returns Form indicating whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
If you no longer have the packaging slip, just send us a brief note with your name, address, postcode and contact number. Make sure you tell us whether you would like an exchange or refund. It would also be helpful if you could tell us why you are returning the item so that we can improve our service.
(If you are returning a gift, please remember to include the buyer’s name and address as well as yours.)
Postage charges for returning goods are your responsibility, we strongly recommend you ask for a proof of postage in case the parcel goes missing on its way back to us.
If you are returning goods from outside of the UK, ensure that the parcel and any paperwork attached to it are clearly marked as ‘returned goods’. This will avoid your parcel being held by local customs and possibly incurring duties which we do not pay and therefore, may result in the package being returned to you.
We always try to deal with returns as soon as they arrive. However, during very busy periods, please allow up to 28 days for your return or exchange to be processed. Note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer from finding out. Sorry.
You may return online orders in person to our London stores, however please be aware these will be sent on to Long Eaton for processing – so while this may be more convenient for you and there won’t be a postage charge, there will be a delay in processing.
There’s no need to call or email us to tell us you’ve returned the parcel.
