The company is based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, in the factory we have occupied for the best part of a century. We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Responsibilities:

Full Time Visual Merchandiser – Maternity Cover (London)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our retail team across our London stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly store VM changes, including the updating of products in windows and styling of mannequins on the basis of store managers’ direction and data analysis
  • Being reactive with VM, based on customer trends per store and weather changes throughout the season, in collaboration with store managers
  • Management of window installations
  • Full seasonal changes with the direction of Creative and Store Managers
  • VM training across all stores
  • VM for store events
  • Helping the wholesale team with showroom set ups when requested
  • Working on creative visual aspects of the buy with the Head of Retail and executing in stores when product drops

Production Assistant, Full time position (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Company

Sunspel is a luxury, heritage fashion brand with a focus on quality and fabric. We are a privately-owned brand manufacturing and outsourcing high quality men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, with our goods selling in to wholesale, retail and online for both UK and export markets.

The Role

Sunspel are looking for a Production Assistant. Reporting to the Head of Production.

The role requires the candidate to ensure that the maximum production is achieved by seasonal deadlines, at competitive prices with all manufacturers to a standard acceptable to Sunspel. All members of the production team have a responsibility to assist in general enquiries and activities designed to ensure the smooth running of the department.

  • Working on all Production tasks, this covers Purchasing, Planning, and the ‘Booking In’ of stock with our third-party warehouse.
  • Working with external clothing suppliers to negotiate costs across all collection working to seasonal targets and internal deadlines.
  • Updating all internal stock lists for both fabric, trims and ‘Call off’ stock.
  • Liaising with external suppliers to ensure all seasonal deliveries compile to business targets.
  • Being involved in all seasonal fitting and reviewing with Technical all pre-shipment samples.
  • Confidently liaising with members of the team from other departments, including Design, Technical, Merchandising, Marketing, Customer services and Wholesale.

The Candidate

The following qualifications and experience are preferred:

  • A minimum of 2 year’s experience within the Clothing Industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Confident enough to work autonomously but also works well within a small team
  • Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure

Senior Digital Marketing Executive (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Role

The Digital Marketing Executive will be a key member of our Online team working with they will be responsible for the planning and execution of customer acquisition activity in line with the overall strategy and vision of the business. The ideal candidate will be able to bring fresh and creative ideas to the table, with the ability to measure success. In this role one of the fundamental functions will be to understand the latest industry changes and then proactively adjust digital marketing activities accordingly.

The role is a key pivot between Online and Marketing and as such requires excellent communication skills, organisation and initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing a digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition to the Sunspel websites through digital channels.
  • Identify trends and insights, making continuous optimisations to campaigns.
  • Focus on growth whilst managing budgets.
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and commentary by channel.
  • PPC – campaign building, keywords research, budget management, campaign optimisation, ad copywriting and performance reporting.
  • Social Advertising – building campaigns for Facebook and Instagram advertising, targeting selection, budget management, campaign optimisation and reporting.
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO) — supporting with the implementation of our SEO strategy, running weekly performance reviews and regular website health audits.
  • Display advertising — assisting with management of our campaigns that include retargeting and programmatic display.
  • Affiliate marketing – helping with the daily administration, reporting and the expansion of our affiliate program.
  • Customer acquisition and marketing reporting and analysis for continuous improvement and optimisation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience within a digital marketing position, with either a digital agency or eCommerce background. Experience in fashion retail preferred but not required.
  • Proven eCommerce and commercial experience, evidenced through background and track record of delivering customer acquisition and sales growth.
  • Experience building creative campaigns for digital marketing.
  • Able to demonstrate building and managing digital marketing channels including Facebook and Instagram advertising, PPC, display advertising, SEO and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience managing display campaigns and meeting CPA targets.
  • A solid understanding of web technologies.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Google products: Analytics, Google Ads and Merchant Centre.
  • High level of expertise using MS Office, advanced Excel skills and a knowledge of MS Access would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written communication and an eye for detail.
  • Experience in email marketing advantageous.
