The company is based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, in the factory we have occupied for the best part of a century. We continue to draw on the traditional clothing techniques and expertise of the Nottingham area where the company was founded back in 1860. We also have offices in London, where the marketing, online and wholesale team reside.

Customer Service Advisor (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Company

Sunspel is a fast growing luxury heritage fashion brand with a focus on quality and fabric. We are a privately owned brand manufacturing and outsourcing high quality mens and ladies clothing, with our goods selling in to wholesale, retail and online for both UK and export markets.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Advisor is responsible for:

  • Working with the customer services team in our Long Eaton office to manage all customer queries via email, telephone and live chat
  • Fraud checking and processing all orders that come through the website
  • Process returns and refunds in a timely manner
  • Working closely with our external warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched promptly
  • Confidently liaising with members of the team from other departments, including merchandising, marketing, production and store retail staff
  • Providing holiday and lunch cover for the office administrator where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar customer driven role is essential
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
  • An interest in fashion, with previous experience within an online retailing company is desired but not essential
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Good communicator and able to create good working relationships
  • Confident enough to work autonomously but also works well within a small team
  • Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure and being able to handle complaints and difficult situations in a friendly and tactful manner

Digital Marketing Executive (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Executive will be a key member of our Online team working with they will be responsible for the planning and execution of customer acquisition activity in line with the overall strategy and vision of the business. The ideal candidate will be able to bring fresh and creative ideas to the table, with the ability to measure success. In this role one of the fundamental functions will be to understand the latest industry changes and then proactively adjust digital marketing activities accordingly

The role is a key pivot between Online and Marketing and as such requires excellent communication skills, organisation and initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving customer acquisition to the Sunspel websites through digital channels
  • PPC – campaign building, keywords research, budget management, campaign optimisation, ad copywriting and performance reporting.
  • Social Advertising – building campaigns for Facebook and Instagram advertising, targeting selection, budget management, campaign optimisation and reporting
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO) — supporting with the implementation of our SEO strategy, running weekly performance reviews and regular website health audits.
  • Display advertising — assisting with management of our campaigns that include retargeting and programmatic display.
  • Affiliate marketing – helping with the daily administration, reporting and the expansion of our affiliate program.
  • Customer acquisition and marketing reporting and analysis for continuous improvement and optimisation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years’ experience within Digital Marketing position, with either a digital agency or eCommerce background.
  • Proven eCommerce and commercial experience, evidenced through background and track record of delivering customer acquisition and sales growth.
  • Experience building creative campaigns for digital marketing.
  • Able to demonstrate building and managing digital marketing channels including Facebook and Instagram advertising, PPC, display advertising, SEO and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience managing display campaigns and meeting CPA targets.
  • An solid understanding of web technologies.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Google products: Analytics, Google Ads and Merchant Center.
  • High level of expertise using MS Office, advanced Excel skills and a knowledge of MS Access would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written communication and an eye for detail.

Merchandising Admin Assistant (Long Eaton, Nottingham)

The Company

Sunspel is an authentic British clothing brand with a textiles heritage going back 150 years. The company originated as a manufacturer of jersey underwear and boxer shorts, and still runs its original UK factory in Long Eaton, Nottingham producing finest quality cotton T-Shirts. The brand now extends to a full range of wardrobe essentials from shirting to outerwear, with exceptional quality and stylish, simple design at its core. It now has five stores in London and stores in Berlin and Tokyo. It is stocked in various luxury international retailers and has a thriving online business.

The Role

We are looking to expand our existing merchandising function to help manage the exciting growth as Sunspel expands globally. The Merchandising team ensure all of our products are in the right place at the right time-whether in store, online or wholesale.  We use high level strategic and commercial planning to build the range with our Design and Production teams. The Merchandise Admin Assistant will report in to the Merchandisers and will be responsible for ensuring stock is moved effectively and efficiently around the company as well as assisting in administrative tasks for the department.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the flow of stock through the business to stores and ensuring online and the stores have right stock at the right time.
  • Reviewing best/worst sellers to inform allocation and replenishment decisions.
  • To be the main point of contact for all stores regarding stock availability and stock delivery to stores, both replenishment and launch.
  • Producing reports for Trade, meeting preparation, range planning, pricing.
  • Be the first point of contact with the warehouse and liaising around delivery issues and problem orders.
  • Supporting the merchandising team with Ad-hoc Analysis.
  • Supporting the merchandising team with admin work.
  • Analysis of sizing history to create Ratio for future buys.
  • Develop awareness of the brand and product through analysis of various reports and store visits.

Requirements

The following skills, qualifications and experience are preferred:

  • Strong numerical skills
  • Graduate level
  • A desire to progress in the Merchandising function
  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Previous merchandise/retail experience is advantageous but not essential
